How to Customize and Change Sticky Notes Fonts and Size

My sticky note's font is set to a large one and it's kinda annoys me. The default font for a Sticky note is the Segoe Print. There doesn't seem to be any clean way to change the default font in a sticky notes unless you change it in the Registry.

Here's an easy way to do it.

  1. Start
  2. Run - type regedit
  3. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
  4. Find "Segoe Print (TrueType)" and"Segoe Print Bold (TrueType)" on the Right Panel
  5. Change the value (double click on font) to the file name of any other font that you wish to use that is already installed. Change both fonts one by one.(For "times new roman" use times.ttf. For Arial font, its arial_0.ttf  and for Arial Bold, its arialbd_0.ttf)
  6. Restart the computer.
Windows 7 comes with a functional sticky notes but it doesn't have any features. Here are some helpful keyboard shortcuts if you want to change or customize the style and the size of your fonts.

Google New Privacy Law Kicks Off Today

Today March 1, Google is changing its Privacy Policy, a move that is raised concerns among Internet users and activists.

The new policy allows the world's largest Internet company to collect and gather information of all its users associated with all its products, services and websites (Google Chrome, Google Books, Google Wallet, Google+, Gmail, Youtube, etc.) and store them in one place. For this approach, Google says that the primary goal is to simplify and enhance the Google experience.

Apple iPhone 1983 - The Original iPhone

The iPhone maybe Apple's  first "official" phone but apparently it wasn't their first touchscreen phone.

The original rendition of an Apple phone was developed, 25 years ago - way back in 1983, by Hartmut Esslinger, founder of Frogdesign, which helped design numerous Apple products. Unfortunately, this iPhone ancestor never got into the market.

Google ‘Do a Barrel Roll’ Makes You Literally Roll

Google is always up to in something. Noting its interactive doodles and iconic logos, Google is known for being whimsical. The latest on Google's stunt which has become a HOT trending  topic on Twitter is the ‘Do a Barrel Roll’, a Star Fox-inspired barrel roll in your browser. And Thanks to Google's homepage where the fun query has got millions of people literally 'rolling'.

Google engineers are surprisingly committed to injecting otherwise ho-hum internet searches with a bit of homour. This isn't the first time Google has allowed a search term to manipulate the layout of its results page. If you Googled "tilt" on your iPhone using Safari or Google's app, the screen's display would slightly tilt. Try Google the word "ascii art" and check out what happens to the company's logo.

Typing "Do a Barrel Roll" on Google is the best four seconds you'll waste online!
And if you Googled it, you know why.

Google will also do a barrel roll if you type in “Z or R twice,” which is how you commanded Star Fox to do a barrel roll in the game.
