I just heard about this today on a random comment, watched the video, signed the petition, share in Facebook and tweet it.
It is now on the latest thread. I do believe that people as one can change things. They can do pretty much of anything, the problem is getting people to work together as a whole. Thanks to non-profit group, Invisible Children for its campaign KONY 2012, a short-film released to raise support Joseph Kony arrest and set a precedent for international justice, a wider range of massive public attention and interests are being shared through social media. This campaign is now becoming viral.

Let's Help Raise Awareness and STOP Joseph Kony.
Most of us don't know him and never heard of his name at all. No one told us and that news weren't spread widely enough that he is a guerrilla leader who arms children. Where genocide, mutilation, abduction and rape are committed daily by his group. Unfortunately, what Joseph Kony and the LRA are doing goes largely unnoticed.
So Who Is Joseph Kony?
Joseph Kony was a former Catholic altar boy from northern Uganda, to a religious farmers parents. His father was a Catholic Church lay catechist and his mother was an Anglican.
He claims to be a Spirit Medium channeling the Holy Spirit. He created the Lord's Resistance Army in 1987, and has been wreaking havoc ever since. He has waged war against the government of Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni for almost two decades. His LRA movement has been demanding that Uganda be ruled according to the Biblical 10 Commandments.

Roughly 90% of his army are just kids. He kidnaps small children from the home villages, killing their family and neighbors, indoctrinates them to his cause and sends them out to fight for him.

After the September 11th attacks, the United States declared the Lord's Resistance Army a terrorist group. He was charged with dozens of crimes against humanity, which include murder, enslavement, sexual enslavement and rape and war crimes charges like murder, cruel treatment of civilians, intentionally directing an attack against a civilian population, pillaging, inducing rape, and forced enlisting of children into the rebel ranks. It was believed that Kony was even abducting girls to offer them as rewards to his commanders.
The things these rebels have done are utterly horrifying. Nice to know that more people are now getting aware that an evil guerrilla leader like Kony, who's savaging children does exists and the evil he has set upon our world are being unveiled. Let's help spread the social awareness campaign to put a STOP to Joseph Kony's injustice acts.

I heard about this and read a lot of article about this LRA movement. They say this is campaign is a phony but considering all the stories and details of what really happens within the darkest side of this movement sends shivers to my spine. I pity all these innocent children and all the women who were abused and raped and the families who were burned down helplessly. I hope this evilness would come to its end.
